I’m a product designer interested in exploring the intersections of design, tech, and cognition. I believe in developing a growth mindset, constantly learning, and practicing empathy in every aspect of my life. I like product design because it encourages me to grapple with complex problems, become better at understanding people and their needs, and learn and explore endlessly, all the while satisfying my love for creating and appreciating beautiful things.

I had always enjoyed exploring my creative side and liked playing around with traditional mediums like graphite, charcoal, and gouache. Later, I also began creating digital illustrations ↗︎, but art and design continued to remain a hobby that I mostly spent time on outside of class.

In college, I wanted to learn more about human behavior and cognition. I began to discover my passion for product design at the intersection of these interests.

In my sophomore year, I took an intro UI/UX course and discovered that it was the perfect balance of what I liked studying and what I liked doing outside of class. Through clubs like Spark and Penn Labs, I had the opportunity to work on solving problems for clients and communities through design. I realized I loved untangling messy problems, bouncing ideas off of my teammates, scribbling on the whiteboard, and bringing ideas to life through prototyping.
From there on out, I started joining more events that gave me the opportunity to learn more about design, like Design Nation and TreeHacks. Now, I'm continuing to develop my passion for creative problem-solving through pursuing a career in Product Design.
